Angels

by Lee_247 · 27 October 2026 · Short Stories

The narrator shares her belief that angels can appear not only as spirit beings but also as human beings in our lives. She illustrates this through the story of Elsie, a young shop worker who, despite her baby-faced appearance, handles relentless demands from customers, coworkers, and her boss with tireless dedication. Elsie is presented as a living angel whose quiet selflessness makes her a guiding presence for those around her.

It’s real.“Hey little girl, I need a hand over here.” a customer would call out to her “I’m coming ma’am.
