This is not about likes, reach or loud self-promotion, but about honest telling and attentive reading. Here, a story stands on its own – calm, with space, without noise. We believe that in the experiences of others you can find something of yourself.
Fireside is bilingual (English and German): every story is translated automatically so it can reach people far beyond a single language.

How we handle AI
In its early phase, Fireside complements its offering with AI-created stories; they are labelled at the end of the text. AI also helps with translation, genre classification and editorial feedback. The page on AI transparency explains exactly what is used for what.
